Starting this June, Summit Mountain Homes will begin construction on Dragonfly Cabin — a compact modern retreat located in Golden, BC.

The cabin is designed around simplicity, performance, and efficient use of space. A clean gable roofline, vertical cladding, large front windows, and warm wood accents give the project a distinct modern mountain presence.

Inside, the layout prioritizes practical living. The main floor includes an open kitchen and living area, bathroom, laundry, and covered entry, while the loft provides additional sleeping and storage space above.

Built with SIP wall and roof assemblies, metal roofing, and rainscreen detailing, Dragonfly Cabin reflects Summit’s approach to mountain construction: controlled, efficient, and built for long-term performance.
